Creative Writing Retreat - Fort Wayne, IN

United Adoration and Heartland Writers Circle invite you to an in-person Creative Writing Retreat in July! This retreat is designed to create a sacred space where word artists from various churches and communities can come together for a dedicated time of creativity, collaboration, fun, and encouragement. We believe that when we gather to worship and create, the Holy Spirit does deep work in our souls, so we intentionally leave time during the retreat for the Holy Spirit to care for the soul of the writer.

Friday evening, we will worship and pray together as we listen to what God is saying to us before we begin writing. On Saturday, we will join together in the creative process of writing inspired by the eternal truths of Scripture, visual art, and a fresh movement of the Holy Spirit. Some members of the Heartland Writers Circle will be on hand to help facilitate this.

Bring a laptop or notebook and pen. Let’s write beautiful devotionals, stories, plays, poetry, etc. for the glory of God and the edification of the church!
