Creative Writing/Visual Arts Retreat

United Adoration invites you to an in-person Creative Writing/Visual Arts Retreat in July! This retreat is designed to create a sacred space where word artists and visual artists from various churches and communities can come together for a dedicated time of creativity, collaboration, fun, and encouragement. We believe that it’s a natural fit when writers and artists gather to retreat together.

On Friday evening, we will worship and pray as we listen to what God is saying to us before we begin. On Saturday, we will join together in the creative process inspired by the eternal truths of Scripture and the refreshment of the Holy Spirit. Some members of United Adoration and Heartland Church will be on hand to help facilitate this through support, ideas, and prayer.

All levels of experience are welcome! For writers, bring a laptop or notebook and pen. For artists, bring the tools you need for the medium you’d like to work in. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about this.

The cost is $59, which includes supper on Friday and lunch on Saturday, as well as snacks and drinks throughout. If you would like to bring your own supper and lunch but still enjoy the snacks provided, the cost is only $15. Just type in NO MEALS as the code to get the discount. Please plan to eat at the church so you can enjoy the fellowship with everyone.
