Detroit Metro Area - Visual Arts

Calling Visual Artists of all ages and skill levels in the Detroit metro area! Join us for two days of prayer, fellowship, and creating art as a response to the Lord.

Visual art is a powerful gift from the Lord, and one that we believe He wants to use to communicate His love, glory, and plan to the world. This retreat is designed to allow time to listen to God, and then to form what we hear and see into visual art. We will provide canvas and acrylic paints, but you are welcome to work in whatever medium is familiar to you! This is not a training seminar on how to paint or a teaching time on how to worship – it is an opportunity for the creative community to actually worship God through the art we create together.

We will provide meals and art supplies (an 18×24 canvas, acrylic paint, brushes, paper, colored pencils, and pencils). Please bring clothes you can paint in, any supplies you would rather work with (let us know what you are bringing so we know what to expect), and a willing and open heart to receive from the Lord.
