Event Details

There is a special unity happening in Fort Wayne between Christians in every area of culture and influence. We are gathering together across denominational lines to pray, worship and seek the Lord together. What does this unity in our city sound like?

We are inviting musicians, lyricists, worship leaders and songwriters of all ages and experience levels to come together for a very special songwriting retreat. This will be a dedicated time to pray, seek the Lord and write songs together about what God is doing in Fort Wayne.

To help coach us in our writing, we are bringing in Andy Piercy, a seasoned songwriter and producer for Delirious, Matt Redman, Graham Kendrick, Rita Springer and many others. Andy works with us at United Adoration and is very excited about what is going on in Fort Wayne.

All are invited to join us for this retreat. Come expectant; ready to CONNECT with other local artists, CREATE together and COMMUNE with God.

TIME: Friday, October 18 @ 6:30pm-9:30pm, Saturday, October 19 @ 9am-4pm

In the Christian music world Andy has written and recorded two albums and also produced records for worship artists such as Delirious (Cutting Edge 1-4 and King of Fools), Matt Redman (The Friendship and the Fear, The Heart of Worship), Graham Kendrick (What Grace, Do Something Beautiful) and Rita Springer (All I Have). Andy also produced 8 worship albums for his home church in London, Holy Trinity Brompton and several live albums for the Soul Survivor and Spring Harvest worship events. Together with Matt Redman, Stuart Townend and Graham Kendrick, Andy was one of the founding members of the UK Christian Songwriters Consultation and is still part of the planning committee and host team for their annual gathering.
