Where We Are
We are in the midst of a campaign to launch UA Collectives in cities across the USA and beyond.
In Stage 1 of this campaign, we raised $170,000 through the generosity of donors and foundations. Now we are ready for Stage 2.
We are raising an additional $180,000 to launch and sustain UA Collectives in cities across the USA.
What is a UA Collective?
A UA Collective is an artist-led community rooted in a city, anchored by an Artist Missionary and built around three integrated dimensions:
Retreats & Events – Immersive gatherings of worship and creative practice.
Arts & Faith Formation – Ongoing rhythms of devotional creativity between retreats.
Artistic Mission – Sending Creatives into the hurting places of their city.
Each Collective we launch is not only a multiplication of our work. It is a revenue source: retreats generate income, Artist Missionaries contribute to our operating base, and Artistic Mission opens doors to grant funding.
Where Your Giving Goes
UA Retreats & Creative Events – Hosting 400+ more retreats over the next two years, deepening existing Collectives and creating conditions to launch new ones.
Arts & Faith Formation – Developing a library of creative discipleship materials for Collectives, churches, and wider audiences.
Artistic Mission – Bringing the arts into prisons, women’s transitional housing, refugee resettlement centers, and neighborhoods experiencing poverty.
Artist Missionary Development – Training 30 new leaders prepared to launch and lead UA Collectives in cities across the USA and around the world.
